I’ve been looking for a really good burger place around toronto and couldn’t find one. Today I stumbled upon Mayday burger, gave it a shot....I FOUND THE BURGER. The hot chicken sandwich was AMAZING. the chicken piece was bigger than my hand, the sauces and seasoning were perfect. I’m amazed with how good it was, the sandwich itself, the quantity, price!!! Would 100% recommend, will definitely be coming back here!!! Going to definitely try their strawberry cheesecake waffles next time!
Best burgers I have tried here downtown! Juicy and flavourful! Prices are fair! Small place but clean! Their house-made sauces are delish! You would never need to go to another Burger spot! Another must try is their Katsu Loaded Fries! The owner is nice as well as his staffs! They also have ice cream and waffles!(passthesyrup) Service is quick and efficient! If you are looking a classic crispy smash burger, this is the place to go. I order the double mayday burger. The burger has a nice crunch from the meat and lettuce making it a perfect combination. The sweetness from the onions and the acidity from the pickles makes this burger one of my favourites. Would highly recommend getting 2 as I was not satisfied with one.
This is my favorite place so far whilst visiting Toronto. The Mayday double cheeseburger is awesome, and the strawberry cheesecake is perfection!
Mayday? More like May-Yay! Let me tell you, walking into Mayday Burger is like being rescued from a sad, soggy sandwich life. I took one bite of their smash cheeseburger and nearly called 911 because that flavour was criminally good. The patty? Smash style perfection. The bun? Fluffier than my childhood teddy bear with a hint of sweetness. The sauce? I don't know what is in that Mayday sauce, but I’m 99% sure it’s magic (and 1% savoury dreams) without the heavy salty taste unlike other burger spots around the city. The only emergency here is how fast I devoured the cheeseburger. I blacked out for five seconds and woke up with crumbs on my shirt and a deep sense of satisfaction. Highly recommend if you're in the area or even if you’re not. Small joint with only four seating stools, take that burger back to your kingdom or to the nearby Eaton's food court. Honestly, I will consider a cross country burger pilgrimage for this place.
Great burgers for takeout! This is one of the better burger spots around. I recommend it over shakehack any day. I got the double and it was a good portion size. Tasty. One of my top burgers of the city.
One of the best classic smash burgers I have tried in Toronto. The burger was basically perfect and everything you want it to be. The fries and the routine was mediocre and a little disappointing. The location isn't the best for dine in so I recommend getting the burgers to eat elsewhere.
